Our History
As Starplast, we started production for Arçelik A.Ş. EBI in 1988 in an area of 150 m2 with a 130-Ton injection molding machine and four employees in Eskişehir Baksan Industrial Site.
Having a $3000-revenue in 1988, our company merged with Nur Plastic in June 1995 so that we could grow more efficiently and offer better service. In October 1995, we moved to our new 2.650 m2 factory building in Eskisehir Organized Industrial Zone with seven injection molding machines.
In February 1996, we merged with Güven İş Plastic and expanded our machinery.
By 2003, we had 30 injection molding machinery.
We launched an ESD product assembly process with just a single product (old pictures).
We expanded the ESD product assembly process, which we started with just a single product in 2005, to an area of 350 m2 in 2009.
In July 2010, we opened a branch in 7th Street in Eskisehir Organized Industrial Zone and started 7 plastic injection painting process.
In 2011, we moved 33% of our machinery and 50% of our assembly department to our branch, and we continued manufacturing in both places.
We started a project on MAS production monitoring systems. We supported our injection molding machines with 13 robots. We built the Dynamic Warehousing monitoring system.
We started the ERP infrastructure project. We launched the Roll-on and Up&Down Hotstamp process.
Today we continue to provide services to the plastics industry in an area of 9050m2 in total with a team of 270 employees with 39 injection molding machines in capacities from 90 tonnes to 700 tonnes, pad screen, hotstamp process, ultrasonic welding processes, ESD electronic board product assembly and plastic dyeing processes. We use 250-300 tonnes of raw materials on a monthly average and 91% of our production is for Arçelik Eskişehir Refrigerator Plant.
